Mumbai: Rohit Sharma is set to put one more record in his kitty when he takes to the field against Bangladesh in the second T20I set to take place at the Saurashtra Cricket Association in Rajkot on Thursday. The stand-in captain will be looking to lead his side to a victory in the second match after suffering a stunning defeat at the hands of the visitors.
Rohit Sharma needs to score just 72 runs in order to surpass his teammate Suresh Raina in the list of most T20 runs scored by an Indian cricketer. Suresh Raina has 8392 T20 runs to his name while Rohit has scored 8320 runs. Indian captain Virat Kohli leads the illustrious list with 8556 runs.
