Chennai: 7 held for trying to sell infant girl
The police identified Lakshmi of Hyderabad and Fakrudeen as attempting to sell the baby.
Chennai: Seven persons including a woman were arrested on charge of attempt to sell a three-month-old girl baby in Thiruvallur. Police arrested them following tip off from a women’s association.
According to sources, the cops received a tip off regarding child trafficking in Putlur railway station in Thirukovilur. Based on this, the railway police and cops conducted a raid and found a group was attempting to buy the baby. The cops rounded up seven persons.
