CEO Accused Of Killing Son Texted Husband The Day She Checked Into Goa Hotel
New disturbing details have surfaced in the case of the alleged murder of a four-year-old by his mother, the CEO of ‘The Mindful AI Lab,’ Suchana Seth. Police investigations suggest that she had asked her estranged husband to meet their son just days before the tragic incident took place in a Goa hotel room. The 39-year-old woman, accused of smothering her child over a custody dispute, has displayed no remorse, according to police sources.
The shocking incident occurred on January 8, when Ms. Seth is believed to have killed her son and concealed the body in a bag. The post-mortem examination revealed that the child was smothered to death, either with a piece of cloth or a pillow. Ms. Seth was apprehended in Chitradurga, Karnataka, on the same day and subsequently brought to Goa.
Police investigations unveiled that on January 6, she had messaged her estranged husband, Venkat Raman, informing him that he could meet their child the following day. However, Ms. Seth and the child were not in Bengaluru at that time, preventing the father from reuniting with his son. Subsequently, Mr. Raman departed for Indonesia on the same day, as per police sources.
Suchana Seth, an AI ethics expert and data scientist with over 12 years of experience, is facing severe legal repercussions following the tragedy. Divorce documents between the couple revealed a domestic violence case filed by Ms. Seth against her husband in August 2022, accusing him of physically abusing her and their son. Despite Mr. Raman’s denial of the allegations in court, a restraining order was issued against him, prohibiting any contact with Ms. Seth or the child.
Interestingly, Mr. Raman was granted visitation rights, a development that allegedly upset Ms. Seth. The unfolding details paint a harrowing picture of a bitter custody battle, with the accused showing no remorse for her alleged role in the child’s death. The case continues to unravel, shedding light on the complexities surrounding domestic disputes and their devastating consequences.
