PM Modi Slams Congress, Advocates Stability Ahead of 2024 Elections
In a fiery rally held in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched scathing criticism against the Congress party. Comparing the Congress to bitter gourd, he asserted, “Fry it in ghee or mix it in sugar, its taste will never change; it will remain bitter.”
PM Modi didn’t hold back, attributing the Congress as the “source of all problems” and accusing them of evading responsibility in resolving issues. He questioned their historical role in events such as Partition, Kashmir conflict, and their opposition to the Ram temple construction.
Highlighting the stakes of the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi framed it as a choice between stability and instability. He contrasted the BJP-NDA’s proactive governance with the Congress-INDI Alliance’s perceived inclination towards exploitation.
Chandrapur, the sole Lok Sabha seat won by Congress in 2019, served as the backdrop for PM Modi’s address. He rallied support for BJP candidates Sudhir Mungantiwar and Ashok Nete, emphasizing the significance of securing victories in these constituencies, both slated for polls on April 19th.
