CBSE 2025 Exam Dates Announced
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially announced the CBSE Date Sheet 2025 for the Class 10 and 12 board exams. This eagerly awaited schedule has been set to begin on February 15, 2025. The exams are crucial for millions of students across India as they determine the academic paths for future college admissions.
For Class 10 students, the examination will draw to a close on March 10, while Class 12 students will have exams until April 4. Detailed efforts have been made to ensure no overlapping in subject combinations to prevent scheduling conflicts. The board has especially paid attention to avoid clashes that often cause undue stress and anxiety among students and parents alike.

Detailed Timetable Highlights
The detailed schedule for Class 10 begins with English on February 15, followed by Science on February 20, and Social Science on February 25. Language exams, like Hindi (A/B), are set for February 28, and Mathematics will cap the schedule on March 10. Each subject has a designated day, minimizing the risk of confusion and ensuring students have ample time to prepare.
For Class 12, the exams kick off with Entrepreneurship on February 15. Students in the Science stream will tackle Physics on February 21, Chemistry on February 27, and Mathematics on March 8. Commerce students start with Business Studies on February 22, while aspiring arts students will face Political Science on March 22, before wrapping up with History on April 1.
The exam timings have been uniformly set from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, making it easier for students to manage their schedules. Admit cards are already available since February 7, 2025, giving students plenty of time to sort out any discrepancies.
The practical component of the exams, particularly significant for Class 12 students as it involves external examiners, was completed by December 2024. This ensures that students can focus solely on their written exams without juggling multiple responsibilities.
Interestingly, the board reported that in 2024, over 2.2 million candidates appeared for the Class 10 exams, achieving an admirable pass rate of 93.6%. This high success rate reflects the effort the students and educators have put in during the academic year, and the board is optimistic about maintaining such standards in 2025 as well.
The CBSE's exam schedule is not just a timetable but a strategic move to ensure student success. With organized and staggered exams, students are given the best chance to excel and proceed with their future academic aspirations.
