In a viral clip circulating on social media, Sethupathi responded firmly to the question, asserting that Tamil Nadu has never opposed Hindi as a language. He clarified that the opposition has always been against Hindi imposition, emphasizing the distinction between the two. The actor expressed disapproval of the repetitive nature of the question and highlighted that people in Tamil Nadu are not against learning Hindi, but they stand against any imposition.
